PyxisGC BTEX is the first and unique stand-alone gaschromatograph for remote  monitoring of BTEX in ambient air operating in "carrier gas free"  mode.

PyxisGC BTEX faces all the requirements of  EN14662-3:2015, defining the method for automatic sampling  with aspiration, devoted to benzene measurements.

Pyxis BTEX has been successfully compared to a number of certified analyzers under different environmental conditions. The obtained results clearly confirmed its valuable performance and its ability to provide reliable and continuous BTEX real-time monitoring.


PyxisGC BTEX has been developped to measure Benzene, Ethylbenzene, Toluene and  Xylenes  thanks to deployment of an innovative MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) components: 

   Pre-concentrator         and       GC separation column.

Advanced miniaturized PhotoIonization Detector (PID) allows to quantify with high accuracy the chromatographic picks of target compounds.

PyxisGC BTEX is equipped with a Cloud software to monitor and manage the acquired data: it is easily accessed via browser on your phone, tablet or PC. The Pollution Guardian Cloud software stores up and archives analysis data automatically, it allows the real time data and the historical data viewing (with creation of charts, tables, graphs and other statistical analyses).
